“Drivers, Start Your Engines”

For this project, I had to create a sticker to represent my hometown using only 2 colors. Being from Indianapolis, the Indy 500 came to mind immediately. And being that traditional racing colors are black and white, it was perfect for the 2 color limit. I wanted the sticker’s outside to emulate a racetrack, and the racing flags to be the star of the sticker. I made Indianapolis fit the shape of the flags to make it more cohesive and guide the viewer’s eyes across the design.
