AKKO is a company that provides device insurance in cases of damage and/or theft.
The goal of this campaign was to get young people interested in device protection by demonstrating how much their devices play a role in their lives. This campaign uses the notification feature to highlight how not having a functioning device gets in the way of real-life opportunities. This approach emphasizes the importance of insuring your devices so that when disaster strikes, you can get your life back quickly.

Event Idea: The AKKO Drop Test
People are overconfident with their phones. They think: ”It’ll be fine.”
So, AKKO creates a live experience that puts that confidence to the test.
Drop location in public area (park, campus, mall)
Participants receive a prop phone and several cases/screen protectors to choose from to build a protective solution.
Phones are then dropped one by one until final 3.
Winner receives a year of AKKO coverage, new phone, etc.
Clips from this event would be great for reels and social reposting. #beatthedrop for example
This will prove that no matter how much you protect your phone, it can still break, and AKKO will be there to pick up the pieces.
